The union territory of India, Andaman and Nicobar islands are clusters at the joint of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. The territory name is often abbreviate to A and N islands or ANI, located in the Indian Ocean. It consists of two groups of island- the Andaman Island and the Nicobar Island. Andaman Cellular jail  is also called as Kala Pani constructed in the year 1906 by the British government. The Jail is located at Port Blair and it achieved the name cellular as it is made up of individual cells. The jail was specially made up for the political freedom fighters where they were imprisoned for life long. Some of the freedom fighters named as Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru and many others too. The jail comprises of seven wings and the big watchtower, from where they used to watch all the gates. These days it has become the National Memorial where all the visitors can enjoy the evening light and sound show in Hindi as well as in English. It also gives an opportunity to watch all the photos and art gallery of the pre-independence India. The cellular jail or the Kala Pani addressed in the island of the Andaman was said to be the suitable place for punishing the rebels, and they were also chained together to construct the building.
